Site Supervisor Maintaining Equipment at Client's New York Property

Site Supervisor

Site Supervisors train and oversee crews during and after storms on several job-sites. They are responsible for ensuring that all work is completed according to our safety procedures and is up to site-specific standards before the crews leave. Any area that the crews miss is up to the supervisor to touch up. They also prepare and maintain on-site equipment ensuring that all basic repairs, such as tire changing, and jumpstarts, are performed. Our in-house mechanics will see to all other major repairs.

You can earn $30 to $45 per hour.

 
SnowX Snow Plow Truck with Western Plow and Salter

Plow Truck Specialist

Plow Truck Specialists are responsible for maintaining 1 to 3 different properties along with plowing from 1 inch or more from the beginning of a snow event to the end. They are also in charge of salting at the end of the event when needed. They will be equipped with one of our late model Chevy 3500 pickups with a Western Wideout and salter or our Ram 5500 pickups with a V-Blade and salter. We will match you to a truck and route closest to your home if available.

You can earn $28 to $40 per hour.

Wheel Loader Specialist

Wheel Loader Specialists are responsible for maintaining one job-site that they are dedicated to for the entire season. They are responsible for clearing snow from 1-inch or more until the end of the event. We will match you to a job-site closest to your home if available. Our wheel loaders range from 1-yard to 4-yard machines, which are outfitted with Metal Pless Live Edge push boxes or Metal Pless Maxxpro multi-function blades.

You can earn $35 to $45 per hour.

 
Bobcat Skid Steer Specialist Earning Cash with SnowX

Skid Steer Specialist

Skid Steer Specialists are responsible for maintaining one job-site for the entire season. They are responsible for clearing snow from 1-inch or more until the end of the event. Our late model skid steer fleet is a mixture of Bobcats, JCBs, and Terex machines. The machines are outfitted with Metal Pless Live Edge Pushboxes or Plowmaxx multi-function blades. They are responsible for operating one of these machines inside a full cab with heat and pilot controls. We will match you to the job-site closest to your home if available.

You can earn $28 to $35 per hour.

 
Ice Control Specialist Spraying Deicer in New Jersey with SnowX

Ice Control Specialist

Ice Control Specialists are responsible for applying anti-ice liquids up to 3-days in advance of a storm. They also perform snow push-backs at the completion of every storm. They must be available on a nightly basis to conduct ice watch for black ice or re-freeze conditions. Generally, they do not work during the actual snowstorm, unless additional personnel is required.

You can earn a fixed rate of $28 an hour.

Sidewalk Team Leader

Sidewalk Team Leaders are responsible for maintaining multiple properties on a specific route while using a GPS system to navigate them all. They run a sidewalk truck that is equipped with snowblowers, Snowrators, shovels, and more, as well as one laborer. They are in charge of managing multiple aspects, such as their jobs, fellow team members, and work orders.

You can earn $25 to $35 per hour.

Sidewalk Machine Operator

Sidewalk Machine Operators run one of our 2016 sidewalk machines that are equipped with a hydraulic multi-function snow blade and a liquids system that applies deicer. They are capable of working outdoors in a variety of winter weather conditions. Generally, they operate sidewalk machines on one job-site each storm. We will match you to the job-site closest to your home if available. We are willing to train the right candidate!

You can earn $25 to $35 per hour.

Sidewalk Shoveler

Sidewalk Shovelers are responsible for performing all tasks related to sidewalk snow removal, which includes operating sidewalk machines, snowblowers, snow shovels, and other equipment. We provide safety vests and shovels.

You can earn up to $25 per hour.

Requirements

  • 3-years minimum of commercial experience using skid steers, wheel loaders, farm tractors, or equivalent vehicles with plows and snow containment boxes.

  • Able to work outdoors in freezing weather conditions.

  • Maintain good physical condition.

  • Be able to lift 50 to 60 pounds without assistance.

  • Maintain a clean driving record.

  • Pass a company online training course.

  • Attend a paid Snow Boot Camp on a weekend in the fall.

  • Provide safe, detail-oriented execution of assigned work.

  • Understand and carry out all instructions.

  • Use a smartphone for two-way communication and mobile dispatch.

  • Have a valid driver's license with no restrictions (no CDL required).

  • Work well under high-pressure situations.

  • Have transportation to reach our location and job-sites.

  • Cooperate with team members in accomplishing a common goal.

Basic

  • Snow insurance is not included

Pro

  • Snow insurance is provided

  • Worker’s compensation

  • Proof of continual education

  • Capable of covering multiple properties

  • An ASM or ASCA certified member on staff

Must provide:

  • Wheel loaders

  • Plow trucks

SnowWorX is looking to expand its team of snow fighters this upcoming winter season. With this referral program, YOU can help our team tackle winter. If you know a qualified snow fighter who can work in the New Jersey/New York area, let us know!

 

About the Program:

  • Receive $200 per referral!

  • Experience unlimited earnings.

  • Send us a dedicated snow fighters name and number…it’s that easy!

  • You can refer an unlimited amount of snow fighters.

  • Available to all SnowWorX positions except shovelers.

  • Information regarding hiring decisions always remains strictly confidential.

  • Referred snow fighters must work the entire season for you to receive the cash award.

Program Policy:

  • When you refer a qualified snow fighter that we hire for a seasonal position, you will earn:

    • $50 for the first storm.

    • $150 at the end of the season.

  • The reward of $50 will be distributed in 3 to 5 business days after your referral’s first day of work.

  • Referred snow fighters must:

    • Make every event in the season (allowed to miss one event).

    • Have a driver’s license, proof of insurance, and transportation.

  • The individual who refers a snow fighter must agree to have their name used in the introduction of this program.

  • Each referred snow fighter will only have one candidate that will receive the award.

    • If a snow fighter is referred to us by multiple people, the reward will be given to the individual whose referral was received first.

  • If an applicant you refer has already applied to SnowWorX, it will not register as a referral.

    • Though we do ask each applicant how they learned about the company, and if they mention your name, you will receive referral credit for this snow fighter.

  • Referrals for former or temporary workers are not eligible.

  • Each referred snow fighter will be processed and contacted within 72 hours.

  • Any known discrepancies must be brought up as soon as possible (no later than 30 days once it was known).
